Don't worry. It's just me.

Reduced Air Prices from Philly to Boston for Admin2010

I was trying to arrange my flight from Philly to Boston for the Admin2010 conference.  I found, once again, that the air fare prices were unbelievably high.

USAir was wearing a mask and had a pointy thing in my back while asking for $500 each way to Boston.  That means air fare for Linda and I would have been $2,000.  I don't think I've paid that much to travel to Brussels, or Paris, or London.
I was just about to pull the trigger on the 5 hour AMTRAK Acela for $140 each way, when I heard something on the news last night about how airlines were offering tremendous savings that would expire last night at midnight.  I checked and PHL/BOS flights on USAir were reduced to $60!  So I bought them.

Today, I noticed that the prices are still in effect.  Philly area folks should book their flights while USAir is still asleep.

Looking forward to being there.  I found out I will also be doing some Birds of a Feather and also some "free Lotus Notes/Domino consulting" during the "Ask the Drunken Experts" portion of the conference.  That's always fun, because attendees usually provide network diagrams hastily drawn on cocktail napkins.  Regardless of the documentation media, it's always a fun issue solving session with lots of cool information transfers.
