News Flash! IBM to release public fix for R8.5.2 SMTP spike issue

Here's a news FLASH.

Looks like a fix for the SMTP spikey CPU issue is being addressed, and rather quickly, I might add.

Here is a copy/paste from the technote:

1. IBM has a test fix available that is undergoing testing.

2. Based on successful test results, the target for a public Fix Central fix posting is September 8, 2010.

3. This fix will also be incorporated into 8.5.2 Fix Pack 1 in Q4.

Thanks goodness.  I was starting to get pissed off.

OK, I lied.  I was already pissed off about it.   But a fix is good.  If memory serves this happened before.  We had a server release and then a few days later we had a fix.

But a fix is a fix.  Thanks for the quick response, IBM team!
